Experienced Joiner, Full-Time
Tom Goldsmith Joinery Ltd requires an experienced Joiner for busy workshop in Hartfield, East Sussex. We manufacture and install high-end architectural and interior joinery for select clients across the South East.
Set within a 50-acre farmland estate with picturesque views across the East Sussex countryside, our 2500sq ft workshop is just 20 minutes from Tunbridge Wells, 15 minutes from East Grinstead, Crowborough and Edenbridge. Our custom workshop benefits from a separate machine shop and is fully heated.
An ideal applicant must have a minimum of 6 years experience working in a joinery workshop and be fully trained on all aspects of machining, as well as in architectural joinery and cabinet making. They must be polite, well motivated and have a keen eye for detail. They must be able to work under pressure to achieve deadlines and be used to working to the highest standards.
The role is available immediately and successful applicants will benefit from a competitive wage. Your working week will be 40 hours with overtime available at a flat rate. You will be entitled to 28 days holiday, including bank holidays. You will be based at our workshop in Hartfield, on the outskirts of Tunbridge Wells.
All applicants must have a full clean driving licence and their own mode of transportation. An NVQ level 3 in wood occupations / bench joinery is preferable but not essential.
